Obituary for Steve Bamburg
Funeral services for Mr. Steve Bamburg, 70, of Natchitoches, will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery.
Steve was born on April 19, 1951 and passed from this life on June 27, 2021. Mr. Bamburg served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the war in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Ribbon for his service. Steve retired from Rowan Companies after working as an offshore crane operator. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, John Bamburg and Lula Walker Bamburg; brothers, Charlie Gray, Johnny Bamburg, and James Bamburg; and sisters, Arlie Mae Bamburg, Evelyn Bamburg, Janie Bamburg, and Pat Bamburg Carpenter.
Survivors are his son, Steven Bamburg; daughter, Molly Bamburg; grandchildren, Taylor Bamburg, Johnathan Bamburg, and Dylan Bamburg; great-grandchild, Gauge Bamburg; brothers, Jackie Bamburg and R.L. Bamburg; and sisters, Marie Bamburg Freeman and husband Cleo, and Gayle Bamburg. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Bamburg, Dylan Bamburg, Jacob Coleman, Tony Coleman, Andy Mize, and Jacob Etheredge.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
