Obituary for Royce Johnson
Services for Royce L. Johnson, 83, of Baskin, LA, will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA with Elder Kerry Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Sunflower Cemetery in Baskin, LA.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 6:00 P.M.– 8:00 P.M. at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Royce was born to the union of Clarence A. Johnson and Nona S. Crider Johnson on Saturday, August 13, 1938, in Baskin, LA, and passed from this life on Saturday, July 9,2022, in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Johnson; mother, Nona Crider Johnson; father-and mother-in law, Joseph, and Bonnie Robertson; six siblings, Clarice Louise Johnson, Raymond Bulter Johnson, Annie Nora Johnson, Audrey Nadene Johnson, Floyd Leon Johnson, Carma Elaine Johnson.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Pat Robertson Johnson of Baskin; three sons, Keith Johnson, Jeff Johnson and wife Kristine, and Scott Johnson; sister, Joyce Marie Taylor, four grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Matthew, Marion Johnson. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Pallbearers will be Keith Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Scott Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Matthew Johnson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny James Robertson.
