Obituary for Robert Adcock
Graveside services for Mr. Robert Adcock, Sr., 79, of St. Joseph, LA., will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Legion Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Adcock, a retired forestry manager, was born on October 19, 1941, in Shreveport, LA to the union of Ouida Jackson Adcock and Ozzie Kermit Adcock, and passed from this life on June 17, 2021, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ouida and Kermit Adcock; and brother, Larry Adcock.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie Hargis Adcock of St. Joseph, LA; two daughters, Christa Haymon (Don) of Anacoco, LA and Susan Edmiston (TJ) of Eros, LA; son, Robert Donald “Don” Adcock, Jr. (Jennifer) of West Monroe, LA; brother, Duane Adcock of Atlanta, TX; and sister, Nina Kay Lankford of Monroe, GA. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
