Obituary for Randy Thornhill

A memorial service for Randy Thornhill will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church.

Randy was first and foremost, a father. He loved his sons, Nick and Cody very much. He deeply valued his relationship with Cody in the final years of his life. They spent a great deal of time together and he appreciated Cody's help and the comfort he provided throughout the final years of his life, especially. Randy was a hard worker all his life. He was a great handy man that could fix anything. He spent many years of his life in the fiber glass industry and loved his job at The Cotton Gin in Four Forks working under his father in law, Sonny Arredondo. Outside of work, he found great joy in being helpful to people that needed it most. He had a great sense of humor and could make anybody laugh with his many "Randy-isms". Randy loved to rock hunt, and amassed a great collection of Indian artifacts throughout the years. Randy had many joys in his life, but in the last 10 years especially, he found great joy in his 2 dogs- Rosie and Zena, who provided love and companionship at the time it was needed most. His memory will be cherished greatly by all those who loved him.
