Obituary for Pat Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Pat Johnson of Enterprise, LA will be 10:00AM Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Apostolic Faith Chapel with Bro. James Harris, Bro. A.J. Kimball, and Bro. Clay Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Winnsboro. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the church.
Mrs. Pat was born September 2, 1945 in Manila, AR and passed from this life on May 18, 2023 in Lafayette, LA at the age of 77. She was a faithful member of Apostolic Faith Chapel for over 20 years, and retired from Franklin Medical Center after 35 years of employment. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her plants, deer hunting, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandbabies. More than anything, she loved taking care of her husband and family, making sure they were always close to her if possible. She also loved attending church with her beloved church family and was faithful to the house of God. Pat loved people and never met a stranger, and was selfless, often putting others before herself with no hesitation. She was the definition of a true lady, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Pettis and Martha Madeline Hall; one son, Danny Johnson; and two brothers, Rondle Hall and Johnny Hall.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Olan E. Johnson, Sr. of Enterprise; her children, Dub Johnson and wife, Billie Bailey of Winnsboro and Lynn Johnson of Enterprise; six grandchildren, Heather Nicole Gates, Hannah Leach and husband, Trey, Caitlin Gordon and husband, Tyler, Makenzie Ensminger and husband, Tyler, Zane Johnson and wife, Emma and Taylor Hay; also survived by ten great-grandchildren, her Apostolic Faith Chapel family, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Elbert Wallace, Chad Lee, Craig Ensminger, Deon Edwards, Cole Edwards and Chris Hawthorne.
