Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth L. Dennis, 65, West Monroe, will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the sanctuary of Pine Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Bubba Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.
Kenny, also nicknamed Mayonnaise by his older brothers, was born on March 2, 1956 in Jonesville, LA and passed from this life on September 2, 2021, in WK Hospital of Shreveport, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, James Dennis; mother, Christine Dennis; and brothers, James Alton Dennis and John Elwin Dennis.
Survivors are his wife, Jan Dennis; daughter, Amanda Dennis Gray; son, Tommie Cooper; granddaughters, Taylor Cooper and Lily Crawford; grandsons, Bryce Cooper, Layne Lowrey, and Carter Cureington; nephews, Mike Dennis, Jimmy Dennis; nieces, Angie Shupak and Irene Stanfill; and also, by many great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Mickens, Adam Knight, Aaron Knight, Patrick Stephens, Brady Nelson, and Jeff Lowrey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Davis, Arte Goode, Tim Morrison, Keith Stephens and Charles Foster.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10 AM until 11:00 AM at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Sicily Island.
