Obituary for Kathryn Osborn (Thames)
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn Elizabeth Osborn, 81, of Vicksburg, MS, will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Reverend Billy Brumfield officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery.
Kathryn was born on October 17, 1940, and passed from this life on June 9, 2022. She is preceded in death by her father; Thomas Thames Sr.; mother, Aline Graves Thames; husband, George Alvin Osborn; brother; Alton Thames; and daughter-in-law Janell Osborn.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas Osborn Sr. of Vicksburg, MS; daughter, Kathy Davidson of Vicksburg, MS; a grandson, T.J. Osborn and wife Joyce of Russellville, Arkansas; two great grandchildren, Yannah Osborn and George Osborn of Russellville, Arkansas; brother, George Thames and wife Wanda of Mangham, LA; sister, Marie Thornhill and husband Lee of Hamburg, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Juanita Thames of Mangham, LA. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be George Thames Jr., Stephen Thames, Will Vaughn, J. Neal Osborn, Allen Osborn, and James Michael Osborn.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brent Thornhill, Bernard King, Mike Stauts, Kaden Stauts, Richard Woods, Jordan Wilson and the Deacons of Immanuel Baptist Church of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.
