Funeral services for Glenn E. Howard, 72, of Gilbert, will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Young’s Community Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Bobby Emfinger officiating.

Interment will follow at South Central Cemetery in Wisner, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 10 AM – 11 AM at Young’s Community Funeral Home.

Glenn was born on April 8, 1951, and passed from this life on July 16, 2023. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Glenn had a very special place in his heart for his niece Britnie Smith Black, who was the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Howard; mother, Willie Mae Tucker Howard; and his maternal grandparents, Cammie Tucker and Duvan Tucker and paternal grandparents, Francis Lee Howard and Robert Lee Howard

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his sister, Carolyn Howard Smith, nephew, Jamie Smith and wife Teresa, Nick Smith and very special niece, Britnie Smith Black and husband Eli. He is also survived by a host of family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Curt Tucker, Stacy Boone, Larry Armstrong, Alvie Vick, Allen Boone and P.T. Crum.

The Honorary Pallbearer is George Berry.
