Obituary for Gladys "Laverne Boone" Boone
Funeral service for Laverne Boone, 59, originally of Gilbert, LA., will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Ferrington officiating. Interment will follow in Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.
Laverne was born on April 26, 1962, in Fresco, CA., to the union of Alvie Lee Foy and Jerry Ann King, and passed from this life on June 16, 2021, in Dyersburg, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvie Foy and Jerry King Delaughter.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony Foy, Melissa Patrick, Casey Boone, and Joe Boone; brother, John Foy; and sisters, Vickie Cunningham and Regina Hopper; and three grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of friends and family.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
