Private family memorial services for Cheryl Lynn Ulmer of Gilbert, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Young's Community Memorial in Winnsboro.
Cheryl was born August 15, 1962 in Vicksburg, MS and passed from this life on April 24, 2023 in Gilbert, LA at the age of 60. She loved spending time outdoors and was known as an avid reader. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, best sister, and a friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, J.B. Ulmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Chevanna and April; two grandchildren, Arabella and Levi; her mother, Dorothy A. Shivers; one sister, Gloria Bowden; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
